How to View or Manage Notes via the Ladder Page?
Table of Contents
Overview
The Ladder Page is your project overview in the EDO Designer. It shows a visual layout of all pages in your yearbook, helping you organize content, track progress, and collaborate with your team.
You can also use the Ladder to view and manage notes added by editors, advisors, or other contributors. Notes are useful for leaving reminders, page updates, or feedback directly linked to specific pages.
Step-by-Step: Viewing and Managing Notes
1. Go to the Ladder Page
From your yearbook dashboard, click Manage > Manage Ladder in the left-hand menu.
You’ll see your page thumbnails organized by sections or spreads.
2. Locate Pages with Notes

3. View Notes
Click on the note section to read the note details.
You’ll see the message the author left.
Notes can include reminders (e.g., “Add team photo here”) or comments for review (e.g., “Check spelling of player names”).
4. Add a New Note
To create a new note, hover over the left or right pane of the page and double click to Add Note to the notes section.
Type your message and it automatically Saves

The note will now appear on that page for all editors and advisors to see.
5. Edit or Delete Notes
Click on an existing note to open it. Make sure to choose which page of the ladder you are going to edit by looking left or right side of the page.
Highlight the notes or select all the desired text you want to delete or edit. Press Delete on your keyboard.
💡 Tip: Notes do not appear in the final printed yearbook. They are only visible within the project for collaboration.
