Best Practices

To prevent any potential data loss, make sure to lock your pages before committing to a page move. Locking ensures that no one else can make changes while you're making structural updates or moving content. Here is how

Creating a Page Move Lock

  1. Click on “Manage.”
  2. Select “Manage EDO Page Locks.”

    3. On the Page Locks screen, click the blue “Create Page Move Lock” button.

4. Once the lock is active, you can safely proceed with the page relocation.

Best Practices

Always create the lock before initiating a page move.

Communicate with your team if the page is frequently edited.

Remove the lock once the move is complete to restore editing access.
