To crop photos without losing quality in our software, follow these steps:

Select the Photo: Choose the photo you want to crop and click on the “Crop/Edit” option in the quick menu.

Crop the Photo: Once in the edit photo screen, click on the gray squares outlining the edges of the photo. This allows you to drag the outline to fit the desired shape and focus point. The cropping will only be in a square or rectangle format. When satisfied with the crop, make sure to hit save.

Maintain Quality: To ensure that your cropped photo maintains its quality, always use high-resolution images. For best results, images should be at least 300 DPI (dots per inch) at the size you plan to print them. Avoid enlarging small images, as this can lead to blurriness or pixelation.

Adjust Frame Size: If you need to change the size of the frame after cropping, hold down “Shift + X” while dragging the blue circles. This will maintain the crop proportions while adjusting the frame size, preventing the need to re-crop your photo.

Save Changes: After making your adjustments, remember to hit “save” to ensure your changes are applied.

By following these steps, you can effectively crop your photos while preserving their quality.
