To ensure your yearbook pages are ready for approval, we recommend following this checklist:

1. Review Pages Regularly: Advisors should review pages as often as possible. Use the following methods:

  • Click the page thumbnail preview or the "Preview" option on the Manage Ladder to view a larger version of the page.
  • Use the "Preview Yearbook" option at the top of Manage Ladder to view a Virtual Flash Flipbook or generate a PDF Proof copy of the book.

2. Design Review Request: If you're unsure about the design, you can request a design review. Go to the "Create" tab, select "Design Review," and submit your request. Note that this will deduct design points from your account.

3. Check for Common Errors: Before finalizing your book, look out for common issues such as:

  • Page numbering: Ensure you have enabled page numbering if needed.
  • Faces and text in the gutter: Avoid placing important content in the gutter area where it may not be visible.
  • Spelling and grammar: Double-check all text for accuracy.

4. Use Page Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with the page guidelines in the EDOnline designer, including bleed lines, cut lines, and safety lines, to ensure your content is properly aligned and will not be cut off during printing.

5. Pre-Approval Form: Download and print the pre-approval form to share with your school principal/admin for internal approval before sending the book to print. Remember, this form does not replace the online approval process. Link:  Pre-Approval Form

6. Photo Checklists: Utilize downloadable photo checklists to gather the best shots for your yearbook, ensuring you cover all necessary events and activities. Link: Photo Checklists

By following this checklist, you can help ensure that your yearbook pages are polished and ready for production.
