Learn how Creating An Ad works
You can set up your account to sell yearbook ads using Entourage’s secure online yearbook store, LINK! Ads, or dedications, can be designed and purchased directly through link.entourageyearbooks.com and is a great way to raise funds for your yearbook project.
How to Setup Your Ad Sales
1. Go to the Sell tab on your main account dashboard, and select Manage Ad Sales from the drop-down menu.
2. You will be redirected to this tab. Below Step 1, click the “Setup Ad Pricing” button
3. Activate your Yearbook Ad Sales by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting Yes – Activate, Yearbook Ad Sales
4. A list of ad options will be displayed on your screen. But first, please do select any additional required information that you prefer for each ad purchase. The student’s name is already pre-selected and grayed out. You may choose to add the students Grade information and their Teacher’s name by clicking on the tick boxes beside it.
5. Define which ad types you’d like to sell – You can sell a few or all the ad types Entourage Yearbooks offers. Simply select “Enable Sales” from the drop down menu next to the products you’d like to sell. There are Personal Ads and Business Ads available in different sizes!
You can choose “Enable Purchase without Design” or “Do Not Enable Purchase without Design“.
If you choose “Enable Purchase without Design” this will JUST charge parents the price of the ad, not have them design. It will be on the advisor to collect the information (photos, text) for the ad and the Advisor/Yearbook Staff will be responsible for designing the ad for the parents.
If you choose “Do Not Enable Purchase without Design” this will have the parents DESIGN and PURCHASE the ad. They must complete the ad at payment. Once the parent pays for the ad the ad can not longer be edited.
6. Define the maximum number of each Ad type – You can specify the maximum number of ads by ad type, or leave it blank if you do not wish to put a limit.
7. Set the price for your ads by entering the amount on the field provided
8. Scroll down to the bottom to set the total number of pages that you plan to include in your yearbook, as well as the deadline for purchasing them. You may also use our default ad sales description or create your own to announce your ad sales campaign.
9. Finally, click the blue Save Settings button!
After saving your ad sales settings, you will see an estimate of the funds that you can raise for your project.
