In text settings, the terms tracking, kerning, and leading refer to specific adjustments that can be made to the spacing and arrangement of text. You can adjust these settings by selecting Advanced in the quick menu while you have a text box selected. 

Tracking: This refers to the overall spacing between characters in a block of text. Adjusting the tracking can help improve readability or create a specific visual effect by increasing or decreasing the space uniformly across all characters.

Kerning: This is the adjustment of space between specific pairs of characters. Unlike tracking, which affects the entire text, kerning focuses on the spacing between individual letter pairs to ensure that they appear visually balanced and aesthetically pleasing.

Leading: This term refers to the vertical space between lines of text. Adjusting the leading can enhance readability and the overall appearance of the text by increasing or decreasing the distance between lines.

These settings allow for greater control over the appearance of text in your designs, helping to create a polished and professional look.
