Cover Designer

• It drops in a centered, rotated text frame sized to fit the spine (font size scales with spine width, 14–48 pt). The default typeface prefers clean, legible fonts (Helvetica, Arial, Roboto, etc.) over decorative display faces.

Quick Menu 

•  In the quick-menu for a selected ad snippet, a new 'Convert to Frames" action breaks the snippet apart into its individual frames on the page

Memory indicator tuning

• The browser memory health indicator uses a simpler absolute-MB threshold model so the "busy/risky" signal better matches what users actually experience (raises the healthy floor from 600 MB to 650 MB; flags "risky" at 2 GB on high-memory browsers, or within 10 MB of the limit on low-memory browsers).

Locked Page

• Clicking "Manage Page Locks" on a locked page no longer navigates out of the designer. It now opens the Settings panel directly on the "Manage EDO Page Locks" accordion.

Save As Template Redesigned

• The "Save As Template" dialog has a refreshed look matching the rest of the designer. It can now be dragged to reposition, and will prompt you if you forget to enter a template name before saving.

Page History rebuilt

• The Page History panel has been completely rebuilt as a native part of the designer. You can now select any page directly from a dropdown within the panel, preview revisions with a zoom option, and recover a revision to a different page than the original. It is faster and no longer loads in a separate frame.

Clear people by group

• When clearing people from a page with multiple groups, you can now choose to clear a specific group rather than all groups at once. Pages with a single group work as before.

People page styling fixes

• Applying text styles (font, size, color, alignment) to people pages now correctly scopes changes based on whether you select "Person", "Group", or "Group Page". Custom people page frames are now recognized. The properties panel loads group information faster by using cached data instead of making a separate API call.

Ladder preview refresh

• After a people page build completes, the ladder thumbnail now updates automatically at a more reliable point in the rendering cycle.

Performance improvements

• Behind-the-scenes optimizations reduce unnecessary screen redraws across the designer, and user session data is now cached to reduce redundant server requests.

Caching - Introduce more caching in the App to improve load times

Under the Setting Menu, you can clear cache data in order to have a refreshed version of the menus 

Background Tasks

Uploading a PDF, requested a proof, creating an Index file. This screen will show the status of these operations. And coming soon will have the option to Restart or report a stuck job to a team member 

Page Details 

If you hover over a page in the ladder menu, there is a small magify glass. This will bring up the page details menu, with a previw, and all the information in the ladder.

Text Edit Mode & Spell Check 

We have updated the Text Edit Mode pop up to now have an expand view option. Improved spacing and other formatting issues when copying and pasting text from an outside source. 

Updated Spell Check to now give suggestions for the missed spelled words in the text box. If you click on the suggestion it will replace the word in the text box. 

Automatically adding backgrounds into “Background Layer”

If you have a image or shape that is the full size of the page, in the content layer, when you now open the page it will move to the background layer. There will be an orange toaster message, that informs you the object has been moved to the background layer. 

If you double click on the background to try to edit it and it is in background mode, a new notifcation will come up to access background mode easier.
