How to Change Photo Fit Using the Right-Click Menu

Adjusting how photos fit inside frames is now easier than ever! The Photo Fit option in the right-click menu allows you to quickly change how an image is displayed or resized within its frame without navigating through additional settings.

How to Change Photo Fit

Step 1) Open your yearbook in the Designer.

Step 2) Select the photo frame you want to adjust.

Step 3) Right-click on the selected frame to open the menu.

Step 4) Hover over Photo Fit to view the available options.

Step 5) Select your preferred photo fit setting.

Understanding the Photo Fit Options

There are four Photo Fit options available:

Manual: Allows you to manually adjust the photo's size and positioning within the frame.

Proportional: Maintains the photo's original proportions while adjusting it to fit within the frame.

Proportional, Outside: Maintains the photo's original proportions while filling the entire frame. Portions of the photo may be cropped.

Frame: Maintains the frame's original proportions when resizing. When selected, only the corner resizing handles remain available, allowing you to make the frame larger or smaller without changing its width and height independently.

Helpful Tips

Want your photo to fill the entire frame? Try Proportional, Outside. Keep in mind that some portions of the image may be cropped.

Want more control over your photo's placement? Select Manual to adjust the image yourself.

Want to resize a frame without changing its proportions? Select Frame. This removes the side resizing handles and keeps only the corner handles, helping you maintain the frame's original shape.

With the Photo Fit right-click menu, you can make quick adjustments and spend less time navigating settings while designing your yearbook!
