Adding a Student to Your Portrait Pages
If you need to add a student to your existing portrait pages, start by going to the Manage tab and selecting Manage People Data. Click on the green Add New Person button.

The “Add New Person” popup will appear. From here, you will see a blank new person template. Enter the student’s first and last name on the right. Then, check their Grade, Teacher, or Class to ensure they are listed in the correct group. You can also add a custom field, department, or other field if necessary.

To add the student’s photo, click on the on the gray “Select Photo” button to the left:

After clicking “Select Photo,” you will be directed to a page where you can see all your previously-uploaded photos. You can view photos from a specific photo category by selecting it from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. If you know the file name, you can also enter it in the search bar to find your portrait.

Click your desired photo to select it. The photo will highlight in green. Click the “Confirm New Photo” button (now in green) to pair the picture with the new student data.

Once you have selected the correct photo for your student, double-check and make sure all the information you have filled out is correct. When you are sure you have the correct spelling of the student’s name as well as verified their group data (Grade, Teacher, Class, etc.), hit the blue SAVE button. This will flow the new student into their group. Re-flowing any portrait page will re-organize the students alphabetically.

Congratulations! You have now added a new student into the flow of your portrait pages. (Depending on the category you used, grade/teacher etc.) Please note that adding the new student may have caused existing student(s) to be “bumped” onto another page, so we suggest that you review the affected page(s) and save them, then check the last page of this group and make sure no students at the end of the alphabet are missing from the group. (To avoid missing students and prepare for potential additions, we always recommend using a people page template with a few more frames than the total number of students.)
