Creating, Saving & Applying Custom Text Styles to Exisiting Text

When working with text in the designer, you have powerful customization options for creating and applying unique text styles that can be saved and used throughout your book. This guide will walk you through the process of creating and managing custom text styles.

Creating a Custom Text Style
- Select the text box containing the style you want to save
- In the quick menu, confirm or customize the font attributes:
- Font type
- Font size
- Color
- Click the "Save Text Style" option on the bottom of the quick menu

Saving Your Custom Style
After getting the font, size and color just right:
- A popup window will appear displaying your current font selections
- Confirm the style details
- The new style will automatically be added to the font list in the text section's left sidebar

Applying and Using Your Custom Styles
To apply your saved custom style:
- Navigate to the text section's left sidebar [ T ]
- Locate your saved style in the font list
- Select the text box on your page of the style you want to change
- Select the "Apply" button next to the desired style
- If you do not have text on the page yet you can click and drop the custom text style you created to the page.

Pro Tip: You can edit an existing text style to make adjustments to the font properties, or delete it from your list completely! Experiment with different combinations to create unique text formatting that you like best!
