Set Up Ad Sales
Selling ads is a great way to raise funds while giving families and local businesses the opportunity to be part of your yearbook. With EDONext, you can offer both Personal Ads and Business Ads through your online store.
Types of Ads
- Personal Ads allow parents, family members, and friends to celebrate students with personalized messages and photos.
- Business Ads give local businesses the opportunity to support your school while promoting their products or services.
How It Works
Once your ad sales are set up, customers can purchase and submit their ads online. After reviewing each submission, you can approve the ads you'd like to include in your yearbook.
Any approved ad that has been placed on a yearbook page will be printed in every copy of the yearbook.
A Great Fundraising Opportunity
Ad sales are one of the easiest ways to increase your yearbook budget. They help offset production costs, support your yearbook program, and allow families and local businesses to leave a lasting impression in your school's yearbook.
How to Enable Ad Sales
Step1) Go to the sell tab and select Manage Ad Sales

Step 2) Click Setup Ad Pricing

Step 3) Now click the toggle to activate ad sales from No to Yes

Step 4) Next, click the required information you want to collect and then click Continue

Step 5) In this step, click the toggle from No to Yes for the ad sizes and types and you want to enable and make your selection on if you want the ads to be purchased with or without a design. *Please note if you intend to have your ads designed by the parents/business please keep enable purchase w/o design as no.
You can choose “Enable Purchase without Design” or “Do Not Enable Purchase without Design“.
If you choose “Enable Purchase without Design” this will JUST charge parents the price of the ad, not have them design. It will be on the advisor to collect the information (photos, text) for the ad and the Advisor/Yearbook Staff will be responsible for designing the ad for the parents.
If you choose “Do Not Enable Purchase without Design” this will have the parents DESIGN and PURCHASE the ad. They must complete the ad at payment. Once the parent pays for the ad the ad can not longer be edited.
You will also select the price per ad in this step. You can have different prices for each ad type and size

Step 6) Once you have made your selections, click Continue at the bottom of the page

Step 7) Now set your target number of ads you want to sell, set your purchase deadline and update your sales description.
*For deadlines we recommend setting this to at least 1 week prior to your approval date to give yourself time to review, approve and place the ads into your book

Step 8) Click Save and you have now successfully turn on your ad sales! Click OK in the pop up confirmation window

Now that your ad sales are turned on, you can share your direct link to purchase with parents.
Go to the Store Setup Page
From your yearbook dashboard, click Sell > Setup LINK on the left-hand menu.
