Why won’t my photo upload?
Reasons certain photo files do not upload properly to the site
One of the key components of the yearbook is the photos of all the events and student portraits. If you ever run into an issue in which your photos are not uploading, there are a few things to look out for or to check.
Step1.) Make sure the files you are uploading under Manage Photos are these particular file types: JPG, PNG, HEIC, and PDFs
Step2 .) Check your internet speed. There are times when the photo may take some time to fully load to site. This could also be due to the size of the photo. Bigger photos need more time!
Step3 .) Make sure there are NO special characters in the file name of the photo you are uploading, such as !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), _, +, etc. This will likely ruin the extension of the photo, so it's not treated as a “photo”.
Step4 .) If the image that is being uploaded is a corrupted file, it will not upload. If you see an image like the icon below, that means the image is corrupted, and you will have to find another image or retake the photo. A broken extension may also contribute to this, as a PNG file that has a .jpg at the end will break the extension, for example.
