Move Elements Forward or Backward

If you need to change the order of items on your page, you can move an element forward or backward.

The two ways to move an element:

  1. Select the element you want to move
  2. Use the following keybinds:
  • Ctrl + [ : Move Down
  • Ctrl + SHIFT + [ : Move to Back
  • Ctrl + ] : Move Up
  • Ctrl + SHIFT + ] : Move to Front

These keybinds will not work on a Mac device.

  1. Right-Click the element you want to move.
  2. Select Frame Order
  3. Choose one of the following:
    • Bring to Front– moves the element in front of all other elements
    • Send to Back– moves the element behind all other elements.
    • Move Up – moves the element forward one layer at a time.
    • Move Down – moves the element backward one layer at a time.

IMPORTANT TIP for Mac Users:

To right-click on a Mac trackpad, try clicking or tapping with two fingers. If this doesn’t work, check your Mac’s Trackpad settings to make sure the right-click (secondary click) option is enabled.
