Keep your favorite tools within easy reach

The Quick Menu gives you fast access to the tools you use most while designing your yearbook. If you prefer having these tools stay pinned in place, you can dock the Quick Menu to the side of the Designer for quick, convenient access.

How to Dock the Quick Menu

Step 1) Open your yearbook in the Designer.

Step 2) Click on an element on the page to open the Quick Menu

Step 3) Select the Dock icon at the top of the Quick Menu.

Step 4) The Quick Menu will remain attached to the side of the Designer, allowing you to access tools without reopening the menu.

Undocking the Quick Menu

If you would rather have the Quick Menu collapse when you're finished using it:

Step 1) Click the Undock icon at the top of the docked Quick Menu.

Step 2) The menu will return to its floating state and can be opened or closed as needed.

Why Dock the Quick Menu?

Docking the Quick Menu can help you:

  • Always find your menu in the same spot
  • Spend less time moving the quick menu around
  • Create a more efficient editing workspace.

Tip: If you're making several edits in a row, docking the Quick Menu can help speed up your workflow by keeping your most-used tools readily available.
