What Is the Difference Between “Clear Page” and “Clear People”?
Table of Contents
Overview
In People Pages or Multi-Flow layouts, EDONext offers two different clearing options: Clear Page and Clear People. Although they sound similar, they serve very different purposes. Understanding the difference helps prevent accidental removal of portraits or layout settings.
Clear Page

What it does:
Removes all content on the page including text, shapes, frames, and flowed portraits.
Resets the page back to a blank layout.
This is a full-page wipe.
Use this when:
You want to start the page design from scratch.
You changed your layout and want to remove everything quickly.
Important:
If the page includes flowed portraits from People Pages, they will also be removed from that page.
Your People Data is not deleted — only the content on that specific page.
Clear People

What it does:
Removes only the flowed portraits from the page.
Keeps the rest of your layout intact (titles, boxes, shapes, decorations, captions, etc.).
Does not delete any photos or data from the system.
Use this when:
You want to re-flow portraits using a different layout.
You want to correct a data mismatch or refresh the flow.
You accidentally flowed the wrong class, homeroom, or grade.
Important:
Your backgrounds, borders, and text stay exactly where they are.
You may re-flow your People Pages again after clearing.
